I planted a small plot at the first of September in central N.C. We had good rain right after I planted it and seed was coming up in about 2 weeks. The deer are absolutely hammering it. It's now mid October and just finished putting in three more plots of it. I am very impressed and not sure i will ever plant anything other than this in my plots.

PLANTING A FOOD PLOT - SUCCESS, ONE STEP AT A TIME

Welcome to the first fork in the road. A lot of folks are planting food plots these days; some are experienced, some are not.
